Career

1st Deputy Minister of the Aviation Industry of the USSR, 1941, involved in the rebuilding of the Soviet air force after its complete destruction at the beginning of World War II. Minister of the Aviation Industry, 1953-1957, and from 1965 onwards. Chairman of the State Committee for Aviation Technology, 1957-1965.

Views

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
