Petr Yakovlevich Komarchev

Background

Petr was born in 1909 in Tretyaki, Borisoglebsk Uyezd, Tambov governorate, Russian Federation. He lived in the Crimea near Simferopol from the late 1970s. In the early 1980s, he moved to Kantemirovka.

Education

He graduated from the Borisoglebsk school named after N.K. Krupskaya in 1928 and Voronezh Zooveterinary Institute in 1935.

Career

He participated in various exhibitions of the 1940-1950s. Petr Yakovlevich worked in the genres of thematic composition, portrait, landscape, still life paintings.

Achievements

His works are "The Suvorovets" (1947), "The Lilac" (1947), "Portrait of Comrade Stalin" (1949), "The Holiday hotel of Artists" (1949), "The Oath" (1951), "The Loyalty to the Motherland" (1952; both with M.I. Arefyev), “The Winter Landscape “(1955).
