Petr NEPOROZHNIY, USSR Hydraulic engineer. USSR Deputy Ministry for the Construction of Electronic Power Plants; full member, USSR Academy, of Building and Architecture, since 1956. Member, Communist Party, since 1940.
NEPOROZHNIY, Petr was born in 1910.
1933 graduated Leningrad Institute of Water Transport Engineering.
1933-1947 engaged in design and construction work on “Chirchikstroy” and “Ensogesstroy” hydropower projects. 194752 Chief Engineering and Site Manager, “Svirstroy” hydropower project. 1953-1954 Chief Engineering, “Dneprostroy” hydropower project, and in construction of Kakhovka Hydropower Plant.
1955-1957 Chairman, Ukrainia State Construction Trust. 1957-1959 Deputy Chairman, Ukrainia State Planning Committee. Main works deal with study of mountain flood streams in Central Asia and their control.
Research on efficient methods of using large concrete and reinforced concrete installations.
