Specialist in: Riemann geometry. The geometry of affine connectivity. Polymetric geometry (which he developed).

Axioms of projective geometry. The geometry of homogeneous spaces connected with Lie groups, etc. 1930-1934 instructor, Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

1931-1934 instructor and 1934-1941 Professor, Moscow Pcdag. Institute; 1942-1949 at Moscow Institute of Railroad Transport Engineering.
