Petr Semenovich Kogan

Background

Petr Semenovich Kogan was born on May 20, 1872 in the city Lida of the Vilna province (now Lida, Hrodzyenskaya Voblasts', Belarus), in the family of a doctor.

Career

Petr Semenovich was engaged in teaching and literary activities. Privat-docent of Petersburg University (end of 1911-1918). After 1917, an active participant in cultural and social life, an employee of various educational institutions, scientific and creative organizations. Kogan often gave public lectures in various cities of Russia, including in the city of Voronezh.
