Philip A. Cutler is a Canadian born politician, entrepreneur, philanthropist and business executive.
Education
He has a bachelor"s degree in from McGill University (2013). During his time at McGill, Cutler held office on the McGill Senate and was a linebacker on the McGill Redmen football team alongside Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Jesse Briggs. He is also a graduate from Selwyn House School and John Abbott College.
Career
Philip Cutler is the Chief Executive Officer of educational technology company GradeSlam and the Executive Director of Laurus Summer Camp. In 2013, Cutler became the youngest ever city councillor in Westmount, Quebec, the wealthiest city in Quebec. He is currently the Commissioner of Public Security and was instrumental at introducing many traffic and parking related initiatives.
He has been credited with bringing the first pay-by-plate parking meter system to Quebec.
In December 2015, Cutler pledged $50,000 to support Syrian refugees moving to Montreal.
