Philip Howard is a British-born composer and pianist, at present best known for his performances of music by Morton Feldman and Iannis Xenakis.
Education
Howard studied in London, at the Royal Academy of Music.
Career
Ridley Scott"s film Prometheus uses on its soundtrack a performance of Chopin"s "Raindrop" Prelude recorded by Howard.
Achievements
First Prize, International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition in 2003
Joint First Prize, British Broadcasting Corporation Young Musician of the Year Lloyds Bank Composer Award in 1992.
