Career
He was appointed a Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to Queen Anne in 1705. In 1714, his appointment as Gentleman of the Privy Chamber was renewed by George I. He was appointed deputy lieutenant of Rutland in 1715. In 1744, he was appointed a deputy lieutenant of Lincolnshire.
