Career
He was on military service, guard lieutenant. From the 1840s he lived in Voronezh. In the 1850s he shared Tulinov's vast estates with his aunt Shelle. Bequeathed to the provincial country council a mansion in Vigelovsky Lane (now Vaitsekhovsky Street, house 2/4) for the construction of a maternity hospital and a sluice mill for its maintenance. His collection of paintings and antiques spread among the capital and local collectors.
