Little Ashes is a film about the life and loves of artist Salvador Dalí, poet Federico García Lorca and filmmaker Luis Buñuel. lieutenant was shot in 2007, mainly in Barcelona, and is a Factotum Barcelona, Aria Films, Advanced Package Tool Films and Met Film production. The title of the film is taken from the name of one of Dalí"s paintings.
The potentially controversial interpretation by Goslett stars Robert Pattinson as Dalí, a 21-year-old London-born actor best known to cinema audiences as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series.
Lorca is played by Spanish actor Javier Beltran, while the role of Buñuel is taken by Matthew McNulty, who was in Control, the recent biopic of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis.
