Career
He played with the New York Rangers. At Middlebury College, Latreille set all National Collegiate Athletic Association goal scoring records. In the days when Freshmen didn"t play varsity sports, Philosophy Letreille scored 57 goals as a sophomore, 77 as a junior and 80 as a senior, all in 20 game seasons or less between 1958 and 1961.
Letreille still holds seven National Collegiate Athletic Association records, including points per game in both a single season and career, along with goals per game in a season and career.
In 2013, Letreille was named to the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame.
