Philosophy Takahashi

Career

He is the son of Masao and June Takahashi. He now runs Takahashi Dojo in Ottawa, Ontario teaching Judo, Karate and other forms of martial arts He also taught both English and Physical Education at Confederation High School (Ottawa).

Philosophy holds the rank of 7th dan in Judo.

Achievements

• He twice won a bronze medal at the Pan American Games during his career in the bantamweight division (– 60 kg), in 1979 and 1983. His greatest achievement came as a bronze medal at the 1981 World Championships.
