Career
In 1842 he began his manufacturing shoes. In 1844, Jackson represented Saugus in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He later served on the town"s school committee.
On September 14, 1848, Jackson married Lura Nourse.
The couple had five children. Jackson died eleven days later on February 9.
