Pina Grieco-Tiso was born on March 27, 1954, in Melbourne, Australia to Bert Grieco, a railway employee, and Ida (Santosuosso) Grieco.

Education

Pina graduated from Monash University with B.A. and diploma in education in 1976. She then graduated from the University of Melbourne with B.A. (Italian language, culture, and literature) in 1979.

Career

Pina was a teacher of English, French, Italian, and Spanish at secondary schools and foreign language schools throughout Australia. She wrote Blitz: A Bomber's Nightmare in 1991.

She works in Parkdale Secondary College, Mordialloc, Australia as a teacher of English and French and in Random House as the author.
