Achievements include the design and operation, based on research findings of two full scale pig and food processing wastewater treatment systems; use of entrapped mixed microbial cell process for removal of organics and nitrogen from contaminated water. United States Environmental Protection Agency Research grantee, 1980-1983, USDA Research grantee, since 1984.
