1926 graduate Belorussian Communist University.
1920-1922 Communist Youth League work in Borisov. From 1922 at Minsk Party School. After graduate instructor, Borisov Communist Youth League Committee.
1926-1929 head, Org Department, then first secretary, Central Committee, Belorussian Communist Youth League and ed, newspaper Chyrvonaya z’mena. Helped run Maladnyak (Youth) lit associate. From late 1928 head, Belorussian Association of Proletarian Writers.
For some time ed, periodicals Maladnyak and Polymya. From 1934 exec secretary, Belorussian Writers’ Union. Elected to exec organs, Central Committee, Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Belorussian and to Belorussian Ccntr Executive Committee.
1925 first work published. Works deal with Bolshevik Revol and progress of soc reorganization. In the last years of his life worked on the novel "Road into the World” dealing with the "generation of the builders of socialism" and also collected material on 1863-1864 Belorussian uprising.
Arrested by State Security organs.
Member, Belorussian Writers’ Union from 1934. Communist Party member from 1922.
