Moving to Galashiels as a youth, then to London after spending a year backpacking through India, she once sold a boa to Kylie Minogue at a store where she was working. Frame is currently appearing in a modernized version of William Shakespeare"s Macbeth that was a hit on the West End of London that recently made an appearance in the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City in 2008.
She has recently furthered her interests in flora and fauna by working part-time at Kew Gardens. In a very short space of time, there has already been a new breed of grub root named after her, now affectionately known as the Zimmer Grub.
She has received various horticultural accolades from distinguished figures such as from Bill Oddie, David Attenborough and Steve Irwin.
