Career
Sekatle lectured at the National University of Lesotho from 1984 to 2001. In June 2001, she was appointed to the Senate of Lesotho, and on July 6, 2001 she became Minister of Health and Social Welfare. Following this election, in June 2002 she was moved from her position as Minister of Health to that of Minister of Local Government.
Following the February 2007 parliamentary election, she remained in the latter position in the government of March 2007.
