Career
He was a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who played for Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club. He was born in Colombo. Hewage made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 2004-2005 season, against Sebastianites.
He scored 23 runs in the first innings in which he batted, and 31 runs in the second.
He took four catches from behind the stumps.
