Prantik Mazumder, Indian mechanical and chemical engineer. Achievements include patterned structure formation in peritectic allays due to oscillatory thermo-solutal convection in melt during crystal growth; relating the complex mierostructure formation in crystals to the heat transfer, mass transfer and fluid flow during processing.
Mazumder, Prantik was born on April 28, 1968 in Calcutta. Came to the United States, 1995. Son of Pralay Ranjan and Prarthana (Chaudhury) Mazumder.
