ACADEMIC POSITION:
Lecturer
December 1983 – January 1995, I was employed as a permanent employee at the Govt. Islamia Science College, Karachi, Pakistan as a Lecturer in Microbiology. My work was to deliver lectures and conduct practical classes of B. Sc. students.
CURRENT POSITION:
Since March 1995, I am working as a research scientist at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, University Hospital, Muenster, Germany. I am working on the biofilm production by S. epidermidis and interaction of S. auresus and S. epidermidis cell surface adhesins with the extracellular matrix and plasma proteins.
