Professor Marut Bunnag founded the original firm in 1950, expanding it in 1971 to embrace international legal matters and serve the interests of foreign companies and investors.
He sponsors the Marut Bunnag International Law Journal. Since Professor Marut Bunnag became involved in parliamentary affairs, holding various ministerial portfolios and President of the National Assembly, the firm of 15 lawyers/counsellors and 15 paralegals has been headed by his son Mr. Rujira Bunnag, a lawyer of 18 years experience.
