Pui Kuan, American nuclear engineer. Achievements include research in stellar atmospheres, safety of nuclear reactors, nuclear fuel cycle; development of accident scenario for the Three Mile Island Unit 2 reactor incident. Member American Nuclear Society, American Astronomical Society.
Kuan, Pui was born on November 4, 1945 in Szechuan, People's Republic of China. Came to the United States, 1966. Son of Chao-Hsiang and Ya-Chih (Wei) Kuan.
