Entered Mysore Conmiission 1870, and served as Deputy Commissioner and Judge of Chief Court until 1895. Member of the Council of Regency until 1901. Prime Minister of Mysore State, 1901.
Retired 1906.
Er. 1903,: 5th Jaghirdarof Yelandur.
