Teacher in Kolomiya; from 1927 lived in Ukraine. Worked as eng in Khar’kov factories. 1936 returned to Western Ukraine (Poland).
1939 attended West Ukraine People’s Assembly. 1940 elected deputy. Ukraine Supreme Soviet. After 1939 department head, L’vov Institute of Trade and Economy.
Director, L’vov Ivan Franko Museum. Wrote memo- ires, articles and textbooks. Film script based on Ivan Franko's novelette Borislav smeyotsya (Borislav Laughs).
