Education
Pyotr Afanasevich graduated from the Trinity College of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk Region (1958).
From 1926 to 1930 Pyotr Afanasevich worked as a tractor driver in the village of Aleksandrovka (now Talovsk district of Voronezh region, Rusian Federation). From 1931 to 1938 he worked as a tractor driver at the construction of the Kirov water canal (Uzbekistan) and a tractor driver at the departments of the Gallya-Aral grain farm of the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan.
During the Great Patriotic War, Pyotr Afanasevich was the driver of the tank of the 150th Tank Brigade (60th Army, Voronezh Front). He distinguished himself in the battle in 1943 for the village of Strakholesye (Chernobyl district, Kyiv region) when repelling an enemy counterattack, in battles on the outskirts of the city of Berlin and for the city of Prague. He worked at the tribal-state farm of Pastdargomsky district of Samarkand region, distinguished himself by high rates in labor.
