Pyotr Fedorovich Alekseev graduated from the Latin classes of the Petersburg educational house. In 1834-1838 he studied at public cost at the Philological faculty of the University of Dorpat (University of Tartu).
Career
Pyotr Fedorovich Alekseev taught Russian language and literature in Dorpat (modern Tartu) private boarding schools, educational institutions of the Warsaw School District (1839-1861), Latin - since 1861 in Arkhangelsk and since 1864 in the Shavel (modern Siauliai) gymnasiums. In 1869, retired with the rank of state councilor. He was first published in the late 30s.
