Ms. Calloway, in addition to her sustained involvement in the area of commercial title insurance, maintains a transactional practice, having represented her clients both statewide and nationally in a variety of sales and acquisitions of commercial properties and going concerns.
She has also served as an adjunct professor of real property law at John Marshall Law School and as a guest lecturer at Georgia State University Law School. Mr. Calloway brings to the firm extensive experience in complex title insurance and commercial real estate matters throughout Georgia and the United States. His primary focus is the representation of other commercial real estate attorneys and title underwriters with respect to their title examination and title insurance needs.
To serve those needs, the Calloways maintain a corporate title agency, Specialized Title Services, Inc. which assists in both local projects and multi-site national transactions. As a supplement to their title services, the Calloways now also offer the services of their companion firm, Atlanta Escrow and Exchange Service, Inc., which functions as qualified intermediary in tax-deferred exchanges. The Calloways are approved attorneys for many national title insurance companies, and have participated as speakers and authors in the continuing education projects of several professional organizations, including ICLE's Real Property Law Institute and the Land Title School of Dixie Land Title Association, where Ms.
Calloway also serves on the Education Committee. The Calloways announce with great pleasure the recent expansion of their firm with the addition of member R. Lamar Gazaway, Junior and associate David C. Gunderson. Mr. Gazaway was formerly with the Atlanta law firm of Hansell & Post, and was in recent years the managing partner of Atlanta-based title law firm Equity Title Group, P.C.
