In 2007, she appeared in the Disney movie Enchanted as Morgan Philip, the young daughter of Patrick Dempsey"s character. Seven-year-old body double Sheridan Lowery was employed for some of Morgan"s scenes, being cast due to their similarities in size. Lowery, whose face is not seen in the film, was hired so that Covey would not have to spend as much time on set.
However, one critic from The Globe and Mail criticized her role in Enchanted, writing that the film "obviously hoped to provide girls in the audience a surrogate in Dempsey"s starry-eyed daughter, Morgan (Rachel Covey).
