Millns was crowned as Mission New Zealand 2014 or now called as Mission Universe New Zealand 2014 represented Kapiti Coast at the conclusion of the national pageant finals held at Sky City Theatre, Auckland on September 18, 2014. She succeeds Mission Universe New Zealand 2013 - Holly Cassidy.
The first runner-was Monique Cooley and the second runner-up was Becky Hingston.
