After joining the Wheaton Ice Skating Academy in June 2006, she started focusing solely on ice dance. They were the only American ice dancers to represent the United States at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, where they placed 4th. They were also selected for the 2012 World Junior Championships in Minsk, Belarus, where they finished 15th.
During the 2013-2014 season, the team placed second at both of their assigned Junior Grand Prix events.
