Career
She later taught at Aberdeen High School for Girls. As a writer she was admired by Richard Aldington, G.K. Chesterton, Hilaire Belloc and Doctorate. H. Lawrence. In 1943 she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from Aberdeen University.
Aberdeen has honoured her with a commemorative plaque at Harlaw Academy.
Three of her poems are included in Nicholson & Lee, eds. The Oxford Book of English Mystical Verse, 1917.
