Career
Some of his notable awards have come from the Syrian Youth Festival (Damascus, 1989), the Iranian Culture Center (Tehran, 1992–2003), Teachers United (Damascus, 1995), and the Golagha Contest (Tehran, 2003). He has also participated in many exhibitions in various countries, including Syria, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Japan, and others He is the cartoonist of An-Nour, a weekly newspaper in Damascus, and he also works for First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Baath, a daily newspaper in the same city.
He is the president of FECO (Federation of Cartoonist Organizations) for Syria.
