At the time of his call to full-time church service, he was working as a regional manager for church operations. Pino has served in the church as a bishop, high councilor, mission president"s counselor, and stake president From 1999 to 2002, Pino was president of the church"s Argentina Rosario Mission.
He later served as an area seventy in the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy and the church"s South America North Area.
As a general authority, he has served as a counselor in the church"s South America North Area. He later served as a counselor, and since 2011, as president of the South America Northwest Area.
Pino married Patricia Monica Villa Dassler on 31 March 1981 in the Washington District of Columbia Temple. They are the parents of three children.
Membership
At the church"s April 2008 general conference, Pino was accepted as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy, a full-time ecclesiastical position.
