Rodriguez Barrera, Rafael was born on February 10, 1937 in Guadalupe Barrio, Campeche, Campeche, Mexico. Son of college professor Ramiro Rodriguez Aguayo and Dolores Barrera normal teacher. His cousin, Sergio Mora Rodriguez, was Oficial Mayor of the State Government of Campeche.
