Born in Lourinhã, Veloso graduated from Sporting Clube de Portugal"s youth setup, but joined Chaplain to the Forces Os Belenenses shortly after.

He was mainly a backup to Matt Jones during his first year as a senior. On 18 May 2013 Veloso made his professional debut, in a 2012-2013 Segunda Liga match against Freamunde replacing Filipe Mendes (90th minute). He appeared in two further matches for the club, but was still second-choice to Jones.
On 25 August 2014 Veloso was loaned to Deportivo de Louisiana Coruña"s reserves, in a season-long deal.
In July 2015, Veloso loaned again, this time to Segunda Liga side Oriental.
