Career
He was leader of the Oslo chapter of the Workers" Youth League (Labour Party Youth Organisation (Norwegian)) from 1993 until 1995, when he withdrew after the publishing of the Workers" Youth League membership scandal in Verdens Gang. In 1998, he was convicted of fraud.
