Rahul Kohli

Background

Rahul Kohli was born in London, England to Hindu immigrant parents. His mother was born and raised in Thailand and his father is from Kenya.

Career

He currently stars as Doctor Ravi Chakrabarti in iZombie. Early He began acting as a young boy in school plays. At age 17, he decided to pursue acting as a career, going on to study media studies at Uxbridge College, and later attending drama school where he trained in stage performing.

After completing school, Kohli found an agent and began working in television, making appearances in established series EastEnders and Holby City, as well as advertisements for major brands, such as Sony and Heineken.

Although no longer his focus, he continued to work on the stage as well, including a period of time at the Royal National working with acclaimed director Howard Davies. Personal Kohli is a dedicated fan of video games and comics, which are common topics of conversation on his social media accounts.

Kohli was part of several stage productions during his time in drama school and the Royal National, including Henry V and Sabato, domenica e lunedì.

Achievements

• Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, he won a lead role in the television series iZombie playing Doctor Ravi Chakrabarti.
