Achievements

Professor Hämäläinen is the founder and director of the Systems Analysis laboratory at Aalto Service Civil International, and his research interests cover game theory, decision sciences, energy modelling and resource management as well as systems thinking. In 2004, The International Society for Multiple Criteria Decision Making awarded Professor Hämäläinen for his work on Multiple-Criteria Decision-Making research.
