Raisaburo Hayashi

Raisaburo Hayashi was born in 1878.

Career

Served as judge of the Supreme Court, vice-Minister of Justice, attorney-general (1932), chief judge of the supreme court (1935), Minister of Justice of the Hirota Cabinet (1936) , member of the House of Peers (1937) , member of the Privy Council (1938) and concurrently president of Chuo University. After the war, purged, but reinstated, resumed presidency of Cnuo University. A modest and benign scholar who served for the development of Chuo University.
