Career

Private piano teacher, New York City, 1935-1951; private piano teacher, Washington, since 1952; associate teacher, Great Barrington (Massachusetts) School for Girls, 1942-1944; member of faculty, Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, 1954-1956; member of faculty, distinguished advisor in piano, Dunbarton College of Holy Cross, 1967-1972. Founder, president Johann Sebastian Bach International Competition, since 1956.
