Rakshit Hrishikesh was a head of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (since 1955).
Rakshit Hrishikesh was a fellow of the National Institute of Sciences of India, Institute of Physics (London), Indian Physical Society, Institution of Telecommunication Engineers. He toured Western Europe. He had publications: many articles and research papers.
