He was graduated in 1901 at Harvard University. Then he completed his studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Career
After studies in Paris he returned to Boston to practice professionally. While he was connected with the design of various buildings, Mr. Gray was better known in the field of domestic architecture. Also a talented artist, his water color paintings were on exhibit in galleries in Boston and New York, and in 1936 he was awarded the Parker Medal of the Boston Society of Architects for his design of the architectural setting of the John Endicott statue.
