(Our study convinces us that it is possible to reach a sat...)
Our study convinces us that it is possible to reach a satisfactory conception of earnings, and to develop a program which will make it impossible for anyone to get an income which he has not earned. Hence the contrast between "getting and earning" which appears in the title of this book. What this concept of earnings is, what is application will mean in practical measures, and how it will help solve the age-long problem of inequality, we have set forth in the pages which follow.
