Ram Narayan Chakravarti secured a Doctor of Science from Kolkata University.
Career
Ram Narayan Chakravarti worked as a Professor and the deputy director of the Calcutta School of Tropical Medicine before becoming the director of the Indian Institute of Experimental Medicine. His researches were reported to have assisted studies of medicinal plants and have been documented by way of several articles published by him.
He died on 31 May 2007, at the age of 91.
