Career
Musa emigrated from Sierra Leone to the United States in 1998. She worked for the United States. State Department in Geneva, Switzerland, prior to living in Jerusalem for one year as a Fulbright Scholar. Musa began her writing career with a cover story on the Millennium Villages Project in West Africa.
Musa is a native of Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Her first name shares an etymology with Ramatuelle, a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d"Azur region.
