Achievements

  • Achievements include discovery of economic viability of the integrated farming system for the farmers of Cauvery delta zone having 1 hectare and less land holdings. Assessed elaborately the nutritive value of various species of tree leaves and found out the level of inclusion as a feed stuff for small ruminants. The utility of aquatic plant, Azolla was assessed as a protein supplement in the ration of Broiler birds and Desi pigs.
