Career
An aayurvedic doctor, he has served in other party positions. He held the post of Uttar Pradesh BJP General Secretary before being appointed as BJP"s Uttar Pradesh chief in September 2007, a position he carried on till May 11, 2010, thereafter being replaced by Surya Pratap Shahi.
