Tyagi graduated from Chandausi Degree College in Moradabad and did his post-graduate work at Hindu College, Delhi University
Completed high school in year 1944.

INITIAL EDUCATION STARTED at the age of 10 years. MARRIED at the age of 16 years in Year 1941. He had given personal Hindi speaking coaching classes to Shri Rajiv Gandhi (Former Prime Minister of India) and Shri Sanjay Gandhi son of Indira Gandhi (Former Prime Minister of India).
There are more than 15 Hindi Poetry books have been published and few Novels are also in his cartulary-register

His poems are being taught in National Council of Educational Research and Training Hindi text books, of ninth to twelfth standard of CBSE Syllabus in India. In eighth Doctor of Sacred Theology his poem "samarpan" part of Hindi Text book in the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education, Lucknow - Uttar Pradesh
He composed a song "Zindagi aur bata tera irada kya hai" for the Hindi movie Zindagi Aur Toofan (1975). He worked as a crime reporter for Navbharat Times.
