Her first film as playback singer was Vengamamba released in 2009. M. M. Keeravani, a renowned music director in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi cinema has introduced Ramya Behara to the film industry. Her recent songs are for the movies Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi,Krishnashtami, Bruce Lee - The Fighter, Baahubali: The Beginning, Temper, Oka Laila Kosam, Prema Katha Chithram, Loukyam, kothajanta, Chinnadana Nee Kosam and Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya.
Currently, she is also singing for few Kannada, Hindi and Tamil movies.
